Requirements/Duties
St. Luke’s United Methodist Church’s Weekday Childcare Ministry provides high-quality childcare for infant, toddler, and preschool-age children while sharing the love of God with families. Through developing relationships and intentional communication between St. Luke’s staff, members, and parents, this ministry promotes Christian education while providing for the social, emotional, and educational growth of young children.
The Kidspoint Director is primarily responsible for:
- Overseeing the program, implementing North Carolina childcare and state licensing guidelines
- Hiring, training, and supervising teachers and staff
- Overseeing the program budget
- Creating opportunities to connect the church with the Kidspoint program
Minimum Qualifications
Level 1 North Carolina Early Childhood Administrator Credential
1 year of experience
A Christian commitment to joyfully help each child grow in all areas of well-being: physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational
Pay/Hourly Wage
Negotiable based on experience
