Requirements/Duties
- Assist in various classrooms as needed and instructed by the director/assistant director
- Make sure all sanitizing, disinfecting and soapy water bottles are filled daily
- Launder and return all dirty/soiled sheets to each classroom on their appointed laundry day. Infants crib sheets will be washed daily.
- Wash stuffed animals, dress up clothes, and all machine washable items at least monthly or as soiled and return to classroom once laundered
- Take all toys that have been contaminated by saliva or bodily fluids to be sanitized daily or after each incident
- Give lunch breaks and/or bathroom breaks in classrooms as needed
- Ensure that all classrooms have needed supplies and replenish supplies as necessary and alert the director as supplies become low
- In the event of a teacher’s absence, fill in to maintain the ratio requirements of each classroom
Minimum Qualifications
Volunteers and floaters must be at least 18 years of age to be counted in the ratio requirement for staff. Any volunteer or floater under the age of 18 will not be considered part of the ratio requirement and will not have responsibility for or be left in charge of a group of children.
Pay/Hourly Wage
$15-$17
