Assistant Director

Hours/Shift

40 Hours Per Week. 30 Hours assisting Director, 10 Hours dedicated to St. Luke’s KidsPoint weekend ministry.

Requirements/Duties

  • Assisting the Center Director in managing teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment.
  • Partnering with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
  • Cultivating positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing consultants, community contacts, and church staff and members.
  • In the event of the director’s absence, serving as the point of contact for all families and staff.
  • Compiling curriculum and activities for Sunday morning KidsPoint ministry
  • Ensuring Sunday morning leaders are in place and have what is needed for the current activity.
  • Serving in various roles throughout the center as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a strong desire to help children grow spiritually.
  • Must have NCECC or be willing to obtain within the first year of employment.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check through the Division of Child Development.
  • Previous experience in childcare administration is preferred.

Pay/Hourly Wage

$20-$22 Per Hour
